It’s been a great first week of the season here at Heavenly and there is much to be thankful for.
I’m energized by all the smiling faces around South Tahoe. This morning two pumped up teenagers told me that coming to the mountain on Thanksgiving morning has become a family tradition. On the Gondola, a father told me he’s blessed to share skiing with his son who was taking his first lesson.
Several people said they are grateful for the early season snow. We owe thanks to our snowmakers, groomers and everyone else who helped give us impressive early season terrain.
I’m happy to live in a town where people appreciate natural beauty yet love to party. I’m grateful to work here at Heavenly on a team of fun, kind, bright people who are all excited for the season.
In our office, we’re thankful for both the snowy days and the clear ones that end in fuchsia sunsets. We’re thankful that Tahoe gives us year-round reasons to get outside. We feel lucky to represent a world class mountain and to live somewhere that our friends and families love to visit.
We hope all of you enjoy your turkey, family traditions, today’s football, and a great weekend of skiing.
