Gondola & Heavenly Flyer Operations Update
Hey everyone! Well we have seen old man Winter show his face twice already, and Fall is quickly transitioning to colder temperatures and snowy skies! Please be aware that the Heavenly Gondola will be closed for scenic sightseeing from now until the opening day of the 2008/09 winter season, scheduled for November 21 (conditions & weather permitting). Additionally, the Heavenly Flyer will be inaccessible during this time until the gondola resumes operations.
The good news is that with the colder temperatures we are looking to begin snowmaking operations November 1st, only two and a half weeks from now! With the largest snowmaking coverage, Heavenly is primed to get things going and to help out Mother Nature to get you on the slopes! This could possibly be the season that they talk about for many many years, if the early snow is any indicator! Remember, season passes are still on sale for the low price of just $379.
