Epic snow conditions in Lake Tahoe call for more skiing and snowboarding!
With 341” of snow this season, Heavenly Mountain Resort is excited to announce that it will extend its scheduled closing date for the 2015/2016 winter season one week to April 24. You will be able to enjoy Heavenly’s breathtaking views and unrivaled high alpine skiing and riding for an extra week.

During this extra week, Heavenly Mountain Resort plans to provide skiers and snowboarders with access to more than 1000 acres of terrain surrounding the Gondola, Tamarack Express, Big Easy Chair and Dipper Express. Lifts will open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. The Gondola will be the main mountain access point after April 17. After that date, The California Main Lodge will be closed, and Stagecoach Lodge will operate conditions permitting.
Heavenly Ski & Ride School
Ski School will be closing the afternoon of April 17th, with no lessons being offered the last week the resort is open.
Both Tamarack Lodge and East Peak Lodge will be open for business during the extended week, offering a variety of menu options and full bar service.
