Happy Closing day skiers and riders! Today we are wrapping up the 2014-2015 Winter season at Heavenly Mountain Resort. With none other than a gorgeous day on the slopes we will be saying farewell in spring attire shredding spring snow and celebrating with après at Tamarack Lodge.
The Heavenly Gondola will spin from 8:30-4:00 p.m. granting access to 5 lifts and 10 trails. Call your friends and get to the slopes for fresh corduroy, and make sure to rip over to Orion, our fabulous Groomers terrain choice of the day. GO ALL IN by catching first chair and staying on the mountain till 5:30 p.m. for the last shotski of the season.
Hurry up and get on the snow train for next season…THINK SNOW THINK SNOW THINK SNOW!! Next season will be upon us in no time, so for now I say farewell and I look forward to seeing ya’ll on the slopes of Heavenly Mountain Resort, overlooking beautiful Lake Tahoe, next winter. It’s the last Saturday for skiing and riding of the 2014-2015 Winter season here up at Heavenly Mountain. Now is the time to savor the snow and the views by shredding the slopes and taking advantage of Heavenly’ s amazing panoramas of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada’s.
Join us for a final hoorah of shredding Lake Tahoe’s largest Ski Resort, wild child style. It’s time to break out winning fashion attire and unlatch those tailgates to wrap up another year on the slopes. Whip out your Snoblades and SnowSkates, capes and onesies, and don’t forget a cool pair of shades whilst the sun is shining.
All lifts will spin via the Heavenly Gondola at 8:30 a.m. (early bird) and will run until the final drink is poured at après (Tamarack Lodge) at 5:30 p.m. Go get em’ girls and boys and have a wonderful day at Heavenly!

Today is the start for sunny and mild weather over the course the next few days, with fairly clear skies and temperatures topping out 5-10 degrees above average. Heavenly Mountain offers top –of-the- line spring skiing, great for sunny day skiers and riders along with top-notch sightseeing of Lake Tahoe and mountain views.
This morning 6 scheduled lifts will spin from 9:00 a.m. until close at 4:00 p.m. via the Heavenly Gondola, located in the Village. Grab a boat-load of Heavenly Donuts for a tasty treat up the mountain and make sure to check out Café Blue and Tamarack Lodge for delectable dining options throughout the ski day.
Today is the last Friday of the 2014-2015 Winter Season here at Heavenly Mountain, while closing day is scheduled for Sunday, April 19th.

Happy Spring skiing Heavenly Mountain skiers and riders,
Today we are looking forward to a gorgeous day on the slopes along with wonderful spring weather! Today’s mountain forecast is calling for sunshine and bluebird skies accompanied by light easterly winds with occasional moderate gusts. Today’s mild weather will continue through the weekend before plummeting into a cold spell.
The Heavenly Gondola will spin this morning at 9:00 a.m. and will run until close at 4:00 p.m. for normal ski day hours. If you are planning on heading to Tamarack Lodge for après, make sure you catch the last Gondola down the mountain at 5:30 p.m.
Make sure to cruise down California Trail, our Groomers terrain choice of the day. California Trail is a blue-square trail with steep inclinations and progressive elements. Practice on your ski/ride technique down this freshly groomed trail and stop in at Tamarack Lodge for a quick pick-me-up before catching your next chair. Good morning Heavenly skiers and riders!
This morning skies are mostly clear and already the wind has decreased in strength, prompting for even more weakening of winds as the day moves forward. Our mountain weather forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with light to moderate E’erly winds and temperatures warming up as the sun shines. Temperatures are expected to peak near 35°F; currently temperatures are chilly on the slopes, ranging from 18°-23°F.
Today 6 lifts will spin via the Heavenly Gondola, granting access to 10 trails on spring snow conditions and freshly groomed terrain. Check out Orion, our Groomers terrain choice of the day and shred early bird corduroy! Spring conditions exist on the mountain: snow is hard pack in the morning and softens as the sun shines throughout the day. Yesterday it started snowing around 11:00 a.m. and dumped 3” during the ski day. It continued to snow overnight laying down another 2” for a storm total of 5” of freshies. Within the past 72 hours, Heavenly received 8-10” of fresh snow!
Today 10 lifts will spin from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., granting access to 21 trails on spring snow conditions and freshly groomed terrain. Your two mountain access locations are: the Heavenly Gondola and Stagecoach Lodge. All Ski and Ride School is offered out of the Heavenly Gondola; Stagecoach Lodge has no beginner access. It is currently chilly on mountain with temperatures ranging in the upper teens to lower 20s on mountain. Temperatures are expected to peak below the freezing mark near 31°F. Our mountain weather forecast is calling for lingering snow showers before 11:00 a.m., becoming mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Moderate North winds will keep temperatures modest throughout the ski day.

4.7.15-April Snow Showers…
2-5 Inches of Fresh Snow and More on the Way!
Good morning snow lovers,
Within the past 48 hours our slopes have received 2-5″ of fresh snow and more is in our forecast. Today we are expecting snow developing around 8:00 a.m. with heaviest snowfall from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.; accumulating 3-7″ possible. Today’s forecast is calling for a steady moderate snow expected through the mid to late morning hours. According to Western Weather, the front is forecast to begin weakening before noon.
All lifts will spin from 9am-4pm with 10 lifts granting access to 21 trails. You can access the mountain via the Heavenly Gondola or Stagecoach Lode, located at the top of Kingsburry Grade. Beginner skiers and riders must access Heavenly via the Heavenly Gondola; there is no beginner terrain accessible via Stagecoach Lodge and Express.

Surprise Heavenly skiers and riders! Yesterday snow started falling on mountain mid-morning, around 11:00 a.m. and continued overnight! This morning our 21 trails are covered in a fresh blanket of 2-5” of snow.
Stagecoach Lodge and parking lot have a solid few inches; while the top of the mountain has been revived in “white fluffy stuff”. All lifts will spin from 9:00 a.m. ‘till close at 4:00 p.m. Please stay on designated trails only and obey all posted signs and warnings!
Ski with a Ranger Tourwill depart from the top of the Gondola at 11:00 a.m. Today’s special tour will give insight to Heavenly Mountain’s environmental impact along with the surrounding Lake Tahoe area. Today theTahoe Sugar Pine Foundation will guest host the tour.
Today our mountain weather forecast is calling for a second wave of snow showers to start falling late this afternoon heading into Tuesday. We are expecting another round of snow, with promising snowfall on the slopes. Keep your fingers crossed and *THINK SNOW*

Winds are impacting lift operations:Tamarack Express is on wind hold. You can access intermediate terrain via BIG EASY CHAIR to Crossover and Pepi’s. STAGECOACH EXPRESS grants access to intermediate terrain only.
This morning SW’erly winds are expected to increase as our nearly approaching storm system moves over the Tahoe Basin bringing fresh snow to our Heavenly slopes. We are expecting an 80% chance of snow showers mainly after 11:00 a.m. with less than one inch of daytime accumulation. Increasing clouds will fill our skies mid-morning with temperatures peaking below the freezing mark near 27°F. Overnight we are expecting chances of heavier snowfall and precipitation at Lake level with partial clearing around dawn; then snow showers through Tuesday evening.
This morning winds are starting out moderate on the slopes but are expected to increase in strength coming from the SW starting mid-morning. Please call the Snow Phone, 1-800-HEAVENLY *1 for your most current mountain conditions and lift status. The Snow Phone is your best notification system as it is updated frequently as conditions warrant.
All lifts are scheduled to run from 8:30 till close at 4:00 p.m. Your two mountain access locations are: the Heavenly Gondola located in the Village, and Stagecoach Lodge located at the top of Kingsburry Grade. Just as a heads up: if the Gondola is put on windhold due to increasing winds; Heavenly will only have intermediate terrain available. As of now, the Gondola is running but due to strong winds will only access beginner terrain. Tamarack Express is on windhold.

We are looking forward to a storm system approaching the Lake Tahoe basin predicted to bring snow to our Heavenly slopes. Today you can expect partly sunny skies this morning, becoming increasingly cloudy this afternoon. SW’erly winds are expected to increase in strength and may impact lift operations; please call the Heavenly Snow Phone, 1-800-HEAVENLY *1 for frequently updated mountain conditions and lift reports.
All lifts are scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. or as conditions warrant. Join us this afternoon after a full day of shredding for our last UNBUCKLE party of the year! Après will begin at 3:30 p.m. and last until 5:30 p.m. Then, come along for some fun at the annual Ski Patrol Fundraiser at the base of the Heavenly Gondola near the Gunbarrel Grill courtyard. Admission is free and welcomes all ages to this community event where proceeds benefit the Special Olympics Team Tahoe.

Surprise Heavenly skiers and riders! Overnight a weak snow system brought a dusting of snow to our Heavenly slopes and open your eyes…snowflakes are still coming down! If seeing believing; than wake up shredders, ‘cause Heavenly is currently socked in a cloud with bluebird pushing through and snow flurries dancing on the slopes!
Today we are spinning 10 lifts from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., granting access to 21 trails that have a fresh white dusting 🙂 it looks like winter on the slopes and we are pumped! Our mountain weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies and snow flurries to dissipate mid-morning, becoming sunny with light-moderate NE’erly winds this afternoon. Temperatures are expected to remain chilly throughout the ski day, peaking just above the freezing mark at 33°F. Good morning Heavenly! Overnight a FrEAk storm dumped 10 (ten) feet of snow on the slopes of Heavenly Mountain! This morning polar bears are grazing the CA side and mountain operations have been reporting sightings of monkeys in the North Bowl trees. Beware of yetis at the top of Tamarack Express posing as lifties and….APRIL FOOL’S you silly shredders!
Our mountain weather forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with breezy west winds turning south mid-morning. Temperatures are expected to peak just above freezing near 35°F on mountain. Currently there is a light breeze and temperatures are cool on the slopes ranging in the lower 20s to 25° on mountain. Today you can expect variable clouds to push over the Tahoe Basin this afternoon as a snow storm is on track overnight- Thursday morning.
