The North Face Park and Pipe Open Series

PPOSBlog

Have you been talking excessive smack to your fellow park monkeys in Ante Up? Feeling like your hucking abilities are competition caliber? Thinking you have the cojones to one-up the field if only you were given the chance? Then it’s time to register for the North Face Park + Pipe Open Series (PPOS), a slopestyle competition in Ante Up Park on March 13-15.

Heavenly is the fourth and final stop of the series after Copper, Stratton, and Whistler, and talented local skiers can look forward to testing their mettle in front of the judges in Ante Up Park. The competition will be televised and webcast, with a bundle of prize money up for grabs.

PPOS is one of the only open-format competitions in North America that allows amateurs to go up against top pros, which will make for an incredible opportunity for competitors and spectators alike. Four judges and one head judge will determine the scores. The competition stage, Ante Up Park, provides athletes with a multi-jump line and a variety of features including boxes, rails and jibs. The North Face PPOS has seen its share of freeskiing greats. Do you think you could be next? Registration is expected to fill quickly, so hop on it and we will see you out there!
