Tahoe South Events: Golf, Concerts and More!

Welcome to the weekend and happy Friday! With scorching temps across the country, now is the ideal time to cool down in South Lake Tahoe. The fresh mountain air and crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe are sure to provide a relaxing escape for you and your crew. Or for the more adventurous, Tahoe South’s non-stop casino nightlife and concerts will be sure to leave you ready for bed on Sunday night.

Here’s a list of events to keep you entertained this weekend:

Tahoe Celebrity Golf

American Century Golf Championship: Also known as Tahoe Celebrity Golf, this yearly tradition brings in pro athletes from all disciplines for a week-long party. Forbes even rates it as the greatest sports party on the planet! Take that ESPYs. And with views of Lake Tahoe from the greens, I can’t think of a better place to watch a bunch of former pro athletes attempt to hit a tiny white ball.

Rascal Flatts

Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry: Life is a highway. Make yours Highway 50 this Friday night, July 19, and catch country superstars, Rascal Flatts and The Band Perry at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena in the Harvey’s parking lot. Don’t have tickets? Head “backstage” and tailgate in the parking lot. Grab some friends, food and drinks and enjoy!

Base Camp MontBleu

Base Camp: Country not your style? Get over to MontBleu on Saturday, July 20 for an all-night Electronic Dance Music festival. Audio and visual worlds collide in this massive production of video-mapped animations simultaneously synced with live music. For tickets and more info, click here.

The Male Room: Lake Tahoe’s newest girl’s night out staple and only all male review, “The Male Room” at MontBleu is guaranteed to entertain. Every Saturday, Blu Nightclub transforms into the ultimate bachelorette and party scene as handsome men with chiseled abs and barely-there costumes couple dynamic dance moves with up close and personal encounters. Call 775-586-2000 to make reservations.

Sounds like a pretty fun-filled weekend to me! Please enjoy responsibly.
