Booyah’s Exotic Burgers and Brews

You’re having a great day on the Heavenly slopes.  You’ve worked up quite an appetite.  You’re looking for something different where you can catch the game, relax for a few minutes, and talk about how great the snow was this morning.  Luckily for you, we’ve added a sit-down, sports bar and restaurant just for you, right on the mountain – Booyah’s Exotic Burgers and Brews inside of Lakeview Lodge!

Besides the amazing view of Lake Tahoe, there are eight big screen TVs playing the big game that you wanted to watch, smiling and helpful faces from the bartender, waitresses and hosts, and there are plenty of “Booyah” greetings to get you in the spirit.

Now, for the menu. You have the option of eight different types of burgers. That’s right, there are Angus burgers, bacon Angus burgers, turkey burgers, elk burgers, buffalo burgers, and lamb burgers.  If meat isn’t your thing, no problem, they have salmon burgers and scrumptious veggie burgers.

Or, you can pick one of the exotic combo burgers from the menu.  Maybe a Whiskey BBQ Bacon Bacon Cheeseburger – a Bacon Angus patty with cheddar, applewood, smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickle, beer battered onion rings, and whiskey BBQ sauce on an Epic bun.

Mouth watering?  You can also create your own burger from the eight burger types, three sizes of burgers, 7 breads to put it on (even a lettuce wrap for those watching their carb intake), 22 sauces, 10 cheeses (including a beer cheese), 17 cold toppings, and 12 hot toppings.  There are over 250,000 different combinations, but you don’t have to try them all at once (see below.)

Now what to wash down that delicious burger with? How about one of the 97 beers available? That’s right, 97 beers for the 97 runs at Heavenly Mountain Resort.  There are Pale Ales, IPAs, Stouts, Porters, Reds, Browns, and even old school malt beers.  Not sure which beer goes with which burger best, but feel free to ask your Heavenly server for some help on pairing to your taste.

Booyah’s also features homemade soups and Booyah’s chili (buffalo, elk, and Angus beef in a spicy chili), along with signature salads for those looking for something lighter.

It’s a full service restaurant at Heavenly, where the great food matches the stunning views of Lake Tahoe.  Located inside Lakeview Lodge at the top of the Aerial Tram and Gunbarrel Express on the California side of the mountain, it’s the perfect setting for lunch after or in the middle of a good day of skiing and riding.
