More terrain on the Cal side

Thanks to almost four feet of snow from the most recent storm, combined with the highest elevation at Lake Tahoe, we opened more terrain on the California side! We opened an additional 200 acres of terrain, accessed by Canyon Express, and Sky Express for return access to the mountain’s Nevada side via Skyline Trail. Sky Deck will also be open for dining with limited operations. **Please note that ALL mountain access is through the Gondola. For free parking, head to the Cal Base and catch a shuttle over to the Heavenly Village.

All told, Heavenly currently has 600 open acres, including 32 trails and 10 lifts. On the Nevada side, Heavenly is operating the Gondola, Tamarack Express, Dipper Express, Comet Express, Big Easy Chair and three beginner magic carpets at Adventure Peak. Tamarack Lodge and East Peak Lodge are also open for dining.

Head over to Tamarack Lodge for Unbuckle at Tamarack, Tahoe’s Ultimate Apres Party. The party is running daily from 3:30-5:30 p.m. with half-price drinks, food specials, a club-like DJ and exclusively on Fridays and Saturdays, the Heavenly Angels.

Here’s the concert lineup for Dec 7-9:
Friday, December 7 (1:30-3:30 p.m.) – Natural Heights
Saturday, December 8 (1:30-3:30 p.m.) – Red NOT Chili Peppers
Sunday, December 9 (12:00-1:00 p.m.) – Shotgun Radio and (1:00-2:00 p.m.) – Autumn Twilights

See you on the mountain!
