Burton 13 Premiere at Heavenly

Earlier this fall, I wrote a blog outlining some of the top snowboard and ski film premieres of the season. It seems that the closer we get to the season, the more exciting it is to watch footage of powdery cliff drops and dreamy park sessions. With less than ten days to go before Heavenly starts turning the lifts there’s no better way to lift your spirit than to watch one of this year’s most talked about films: Burton 13.

You’ll enjoy legendary video parts from Tahoe favorites such as John Jackson, Danny Davis and Jeremy Jones as they show off their skills on fluffy pillows and kickers as big as your house. This film especially strikes home for us here at Heavenly since our High Roller Terrain Park is featured in its very own segment. I got to see a sneak peak, and it is SWEET!

When you spend hours coordinating with park crew, ski patrol and pretty much every department on our mountain and experience the process of working with a film crew and professional snowboarders, seeing the final product is so rewarding. We’re so proud to see our mountain in this iconic film and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.

Burton 13 will be premiering tomorrow night, Thursday, November 8 at Opal Nightclub inside MontBleu Casino. Admission is $10 for general admission and $5 for locals (bring your local ID or resort employee pass). There will be $1 drinks so don’t forget to stick around after the premiere is over to dance the night away. (Sorry kiddos, Opal is a 21+ establishment.)

Hope to see you there or on the mountain soon! 9 days until first chair…

I called Mount Blue and ask about Burton 13. 3 women didn’t know what it was, and the 4th said it’s a new disjockey in the Opal lounge. You people need to choose a smarter venue. Maybe a differant Casino too.

At what age is a “child’ for a discounted dailey lift ticket and is there a special on certain days for kids?
