Daily Snow Report 2/11/12

Good morning, Skiers and Riders!  It’s time to head up the mountain to sample some of Tahoe’s most experienced grooming team’s signature corduroy. There’s something for everyone with top to bottom skiing and riding in two states on all levels of available trails, from beginner runs to double black diamond steeps! Lifts open at 8:30am.

Today we’ll be operating 25 lifts accessing 63 trails and 32 miles of terrain. Our groomers suggest you sample their superior work on Orion in NV today and on Mombo in CA. Adventure Peak will be open with 2 lanes of tubing and sledding for ages 6 and under. There are 45 creative features between our two terrain parks: Ante Up in NV and Groove Park in CA.

The forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a slight chance of snow, light to moderate winds and temps in the mid 30’s to low 40’s. Obstacles do exist on and off the groomed trails, so please exercise caution and observe all posted signs and closures. Play it safe, play all season! All four base lodges are open today and will have free shuttle busses running between them for your convenience.
Join us for Tahoe’s ultimate après ski party, Unbuckle, at the Tamarack Lodge this afternoon from 3:30-5:30pm with appetizers, half-priced drinks, a live DJ and our very own Heavenly Angels. Families, skip down to the Village at 4:30pm for the Ripperoo Kids’ Snow Parade, including a special treat from Seattle’s Best Coffee!
