Snowmaking and Grooming Update 1/18/12

Good morning, skiers and riders! Winds are currently impacting lift operations, please call 1.800.HEAVENLY or check back for more details throughout the day. The good news is that the expected storm is blowing in today and it is possible that we will have up to 6ft of fresh snow by the end of the week!

The increasing winds didn’t stop our snowmaknig team yesterday. They were able to make some fresh powder on World Cup, Round-a-bout, Mombo Meadows, Groove, Big Dipper, Orion, and Boulder Bowl.

Our grooming team smoothed out our trails last night, they worked on Cal Trail, Orion, Boulder Bowl, Big Dipper, Olympic, Upper North Bowl, The Tubing Hill, Pepi’s, Crossover, Von Schmidt, Ridge Run, Maggie’s, Patsy’s, Cat Track, Groove, High Roller, and First Ride. They suggest you check out Boulder Bowl in NV, and Maggie’s in CA. To see where they worked, check out our grooming map.
