Winter Ignite at Heavenly!
After kicking off snowmaking last week, the 2011/2012 season is officially underway! So now ladies and gentlemen, start your engines and get excited for this year’s Winter Ignite!
In addition to the mountain opening on November 18th (weather and conditions permitting), Heavenly is throwing a week-long bash as another outlet for your stores of winter excitement. In celebration of Opening Week and all things winter, Heavenly is laying claim to something no other resort can own like we can: Nightlife. 24-hour entertainment. Non-stop action. Winter Ignite is around-the-clock Heavenly, encapsulated in a week that’s filled to the brim with entertainment!
Light the fire on November 18th & 19th with your first turns of the season, followed by screenings of the latest film from everyone’s favorite filmmaker Warren Miller! Cap off both nights with explosive Heavenly after-parties at Opal Nightclub inside MontBleu Casino. Bring your season pass for free entry!
In order to optimize your itinerary of weekend festivities, I recommend getting tickets for Warren Miller on the 18th, so you can hit the Johnny Lang concert at Harrah’s on the 19th.
All week, plan to spend your Après Ski time rocking out with us at the Tamarack Lodge. Parties start everyday at 3:30pm with a live DJ, prizes, food and, of course, drink. You read correctly: Heavenly is hosting Après Ski at Tamarack ALL week!
You can expect music and entertainment all week long, culminating in an epic concert from BUSH live at the MontBleu Theatre, presented by Heavenly Mountain Resort and MontBleu! The band is celebrating the release of ‘The Sea Memories,’ their first new album in 10 years, and their chart-topping lead single, “The Sound of Winter”.
