Renting a bike in South Lake Tahoe couldn’t be easier.  We had an amazing day last week mountain biking around. It all started in the Heavenly village in the heart of South Lake Tahoe at Heavenly Sports. The store is directly across from the entrance to the beautiful Heavenly gondola and it had everything we needed. They have cruiser bikes for your ride to the beach, full-suspension bikes for your ride up and down the mountain and junior bikes too, so the whole family can go.  We rented mountain bikes and it couldn’t have been smoother. Let me break it down for you:
First: We rented on line so they had our information there and ready when we were. Click here to make your reservation or go to rentbikes.com (you save 20% by doing this!).Â
Second:Â They made sure we had the right bike for our height and weight and even adjusted the suspension to make sure it worked properly for our builds.
Third:Â They gave us a helmet, safety is always first.
Final: They gave us some great suggestions for trails and sent us on our way (they know a lot in there)
Let me tell you it couldn’t have been more fun. The bike was exceptional with front and rear suspension. It made it up hill with ease, maybe a little slow do to the rider. When we finally got to go downhill the bike was fast, it had great compression and plenty of travel. Why is the downhill always more fun than the up? When we returned to the shop the employees were extremely helpful and friendly, they took our bikes right away and wanted to hear all about our excursion. When you’re on a bike you can cover so much more ground and see so many more views. Overall, it was a great day of mountain biking all thanks to Heavenly Sports, SSV rental bikes.Â
I can’t wait to do it again. Check out our video from the day!
