It’s the last day of what has turned out to be an absolutely unbelievable ski and ride year for Heavenly and Tahoe, in general. Anyone remember the snow storms in June?! And August, even?!
Let’s start our celebration this afternoon in the Heavenly Village at 2pm. Families, this is an awesome event, complete with a rail jam, stilt walkers, face painting, a fire and glow show, ice skating and all kinds of other exciting activities! At 4:30p you can also join Heavenly Ski and Ride School mascot, Ripperoo, in a parade through the Village, ending with a treat from Seattle’s Best Coffee!
But, Big Kids, there’s even more…
This year Heavenly is bringing New York to Tahoe at 9pm with fireworks and the first annual GONDOLA DROP!!!  Bring your sweetheart or best friends and count down to the New Year before you go party all night at Mont Bleu!
Find a time to rest sometime before 8:30a on the first day of 20ll, though, because conditions are astounding and you’ll have a great chance to carve up some fresh corduroy while everyone else is still hurting in their hotels! The forecast is calling for a chance of even more snow for New Years day, tomorrow, so come up and start the year in the proper fashion!
