A DECEMBER TO REMEMBER -A HEAVENLY HOLIDAY RUNDOWN

The Holidays are upon us and there is a multitude of activities to participate in this season! With all of the snow we received in November, South Lake Tahoe is a fantastic place to cultivate your holiday cheer!

The Heavenly Village will be a center focus for both Christmas and New Year’s this season, particularly for family entertainment! On December 18th, the Heavenly Ski School presents the first of many Ripperoo Crew Kids’ Parades!  Ripperoo leads the kids on a jaunt through the village, with singing, dancing and treats from Seattle’s Best Coffee. Join us every Saturday throughout the season, except Christmas Day, at 4pm.

Join us on Dec 31st for the South Shore Celebration 2010 – Family New Year’s Eve in Heavenly Village!  This unique event is a MUST for families and kids, starting with a Rail Jam at 2pm and ending at midnight! The party will feature a snowboard simulator, a stilt-walker and magician, face painting, a fire and glow show, adventure videos and live music.  Stick around for the one-of-a-kind “Gondola Drop” at 9pm! More info available here.

Mont Bleu is offering several events, including “A Holiday Celebration” presented by Sierra Ballet Company and the beloved “Nutcracker”, presented by the Reno Dance Company. On Christmas night, Mont Bleu will stir up the Christmas magic with  “Masters of Magic II”, a family-friendly production with Zsa Zsa “The Vegas Talking Dog”, Eli Kerr from America’s Got Talent, Mark Kornhauser from The Tonight Show, and Tony Clark, as seen at Hollywood’s Magic Castle. For New Year’s Eve, they’ll show why they’re a leader in late-night entertainment in Tahoe with their NYE Perfection Party, 3 separate parties at one price! Get all the Mont Bleu event details here.

Looking for an awesome holiday deal? You still have time… start here!

In the meantime, the Heavenly Street Team is hosting their annual Holiday Food Drive from Dec 6th-17th. Please stop by one of our base lodges to contribute some non-perishable items.  Just look for the festive bins!

We look forward to spending the holidays with you, both on and off of the hill!
