Tahoe Bike Day Bike Parade – Saturday, June 5

This Saturday, June 5 the Ski Run Marina will host the conclusion of the two week Bike Challenge with a bike parade and festival to celebrate cycling and the important role it plays in the region. The event kicks-off at noon with a ribbon cutting ceremony by governmental representatives officially commencing the Tahoe Bike Day events at Ski Run Marina, followed by a 2.2 mile cavalcade parade and police escort. The Parade departs Ski Run Marina and turns East-bound on Hwy 50 (left) and then turns onto Pioneer Trail at Naked Fish Sushi (right). It then proceeds along Pioneer Trail to the intersection of Ski Run Blvd. at which the Parade turns right and heads back to Ski Run Marina where the Festival featuring 20-30 exhibitors, entertainment, demonstrations, food and beverages will run until 5:00 pm.

This is a family-friendly event that is sure to be a great time. Weather is predicted to be sunny and pleasant which should make for a great event!
