Who’s Up for Some Spring Pow?
Heavenly and Lake Tahoe are known for their epic spring conditions and their powerful spring storms. Well, today’s didn’t disappoint. It dropped about 18 inches of mid-winter light and dry on the mountain. Check out team riders Kyle Smaine and Graham Raymond shredding the pow.
All this snow is going to set us up for an awesome April, which, by the way, we’ve extended an extra week (we’re now closing on April 25), and which you can ski for free if you buy your $339 Heavenly season pass today.
The sun is out as I write this (I’m expecting a clear driveway when I get home – Tahoe rules), but we’re expecting another storm or two Friday and Sunday. So as long as Ma Nature keeps sending the snow, we’ll keep shredding it! Carve diem (seize the ski day)!
