Sho Kashima Prepares for Summer with the US Ski Team
Hello Everyone!
I hope you enjoyed the last few spring riding days at Heavenly. I got my share of spring skiing in Early April. I had a few great days up on the mountain. The weather was beautiful, the snow conditions were awesome, and I’m proud to say this is my home mountain because this is what Heavenly is famous for!
Anyways, I guess it’s time to move on to other activities for all us riders. It’s a little sad that we won’t be able to ski for a while!
I’ve just been taking the last few weeks to relax and get back into reality. My offseason will consist of a lot of gym time, working a little, and travelling a lot. I will coach some skiing and trampoline camps in Whistler and Maine. I will be attending some on-snow US Team camps in Chile and Zermatt, Switzerland. It should be a pretty busy summer but I’ll be prepared to perform well next season and I’m looking forward to an opportunity to represent our country in the 2010 Winter Olympics. I will be starting next sesason on the “A” Squad for the US Ski Team so things are looking pretty good! Well I wish you all a happy and safe offseason. See you all soon!

Sho, Great Job!! I was a ski instructor when you were just starting on D-Team-proof positive that exposure to the sport at a young age gives kids the LOVE of snow skiing/boarding!! Glad to see you are still at it!!
