Pond Skimming Today at Adventure Peak

Heavenly will host the Pond Skimming Championships of Lake Tahoe today at the top of the Heavenly Gondola at Adventure Peak. Registration is free and open from 12 to 1 pm at the pond area; the event will take place from 1 to 2 pm. All participants are welcome and costumes are encouraged.
This is also a great event for spectators, only a gondola ticket is needed to watch. The event is easily accessible and very entertaining.
Come watch or attempt to cross the pond on your skis, snowboards or other creative apparatis.
