High Roller Ty Dayberry Checks-In!!
So my December has been good thus far. I turned twenty one years old and lived to tell about it, celebrated Christmas with my family, and have skied numerous days of fresh snow. The best day of my season this year was the day after Christmas. My friend David and I woke up at
6:30 a.m. so that we could be first in line at the Gondola. We proceeded to ski multiple laps of fresh powder in an undisclosed location at Heavenly. We were so fortunate that the only tracks that we crossed all day were the ones that we laid down the runs before. Each one of these powder runs lasted us a solid 15 minutes of skiing. It feels so great to finally link up a bunch of solid tele pow turns!
Anyways… I will be starting up school again at LTCC in a short time here. I’m going to be taking two Spanish classes and once I’m done with those I will have received my AA in Spanish. On top of that I will be working at the US Forest Service doing a paid internship learning about Landscape Architecture and Planning. I will definitely have a hard time keeping up on my skiing with all of this grown-up stuff going on. What ever, I’ll be killing it no matter what I do.
Have a safe and fun New Years out there all you Heavenly goers!!
Ten un bueno Ano Nuevo!
