Comet Terrain Park Open For Business!
Hey skiers and riders! I just went up to check out the new Comet Terrain Park for this season. It’s sick! The Terrain Park Crew has been hard at work planning the hits and making all the new recycled features – check out all my photos from today. I caught up with Mike “$” Thomas, the Terrain Park Manager, and he said he’d been hard at work since last night to get the park open; he was working from 7pm – 1am… and he was still there to open this morning running on no sleep!
Mike wanted to make sure to thank the expert Snowmaking team – without their hard work, none of the park would be possible. Mike also wanted to thank the High Roller Team, for helping to dig out all those boxes! BIG THANKS to Mike, the TPC, High Roller Team, and Heavenly Snowmaking!

I’m glad everyone is stoked on the new comet park and there will be changes and additions soon. 15 features as of today…maybe more tomorrow. Mike
Ps- correction, worked from 7am to 1am then back to open the park on no sleep…lol

i’m not that good of a snowboarder, so for me this park is out of my reach, sucks…if these are beginner features then i need to quit snowboarding!!

Hey esol, dont be that hard on yourself. These kids make it look easy. With some practice you can be doing this at the end of the season.

According to the NWS:
COLD AIR REMAINS IN PLACE INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK WITH THE MAIN STORM TRACK FROM THE NORTH. MODELS ARE INDICATING A STORM COULD AFFECT THE SIERRA AND WESTERN NEVADA SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. THIS CREATES THE POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS EARLY NEXT WEEK AS THE STORM COULD PERSIST FOR A DAY OR TWO.

Comet park is classified as a MED park… not a beginer or small park. we do have some smaller stuff in there thou. Hopefully soon groove (SM park) will be up…
