4th of July

Heavenly is a great place to take your family and friends for the 4th of July holiday. Gondola sightseeing will operate throughout the holiday weekend from 10 am to 5 pm with dining available from 11 am to 3 pm at Cafe Blue on the Observation Deck and the Adventure Peak Grill.
The most exciting rides will take place on the new Heavenly Flyer zip line at the Adventure Peak activities area. The Flyer offers sweeping views of Lake Tahoe, Carson Valley and the Sierra Nevada Mountains while you zoom 3,200 feet at 50 mph. Don’t miss your ride on the Continental U.S.’s longest zip line, which will operate from 11 am to 4:30 pm daily.
The South Shore of Lake Tahoe also hosts the fifth largest pyrotechnics show in the U.S. Truly an eye-candy experience, these fireworks go on forever and over 100,000 people come to watch every year.
The South Shore of Lake Tahoe and Heavenly is truly a vacation destination with activities for every age and every style. Party all-night at VEX in Harrah’s or wake-up at the crack to hike Mt. Tallac!
I know I’ll be catching some rays at the beach and riding my bike around town. :)
Happy 4th!!!

I made it up this year for the fireworks in No. Tahoe. It must have been the longest show i’ve ever seen. Even the barge started on fire , only adding to the excitement!
