How’s it going everyone? I’m in Chamonix and there is
too much snow… really - no lifts are running and there’s high
avalanche danger. I’m coming home on March 29th to get
everything ready for the Gunbarrel 25 on April 5th. Dad tells me
the hill is looking great. I’m very excited about
this year, not only about the snow we have on the
face, but this will be the fifth annual Gunbarrel 25.
This event was inspired by tradition and now it is
becoming one - in all my travels I know of no other
event like it. In a world full of grooming machines
and fat skis - it is truly unique, and is only
possible because of the people that make the
commitment every year to enter. I will take this
opportunity to “thank you” once again. Also, to
invite anyone who is interested to please join us for
this most gratifying all-comers event. In which there
are winners and more importantly there are finishers.
It will once again be the premiere event during
Heavenly’s Spring Loaded on Saturday, April 5. It
can be entered online or the morning of the event.
Start time is at 10am with awards/banquet immediately
following. 25 Runs - six hour time limit: first person to 25
is the overall winner: most in 6 hours is Iron class
winner. As usual we will give away as many prizes as
