Spring Time Fun is Very Near…

Hello Heavenly skiers and riders…I must say that I am very excited about the amounts of snow we have received here at Heavenly and the beautiful weather that has followed the big storms. Spring is in the air and the skiing and riding have been exceptional. I have been enjoying my time in the terrain parks because massive amounts of snow means massive jumps and a massive pipe. Conditions could not be more ideal for park riding at this time. The jump lines are beautiful right now and more rails are being added consistently which makes me very happy. The Heavenly Terrain Park Crew has been working hard and I would like to thank them for all their effort already expended this year. I am well aware the TPC has more to come…I can’t wait to see what they are going to do next.
I am also very amped up about the return of the Jackpot Railjam series. The kickoff competition, which was supposed to happen Feburary 23, was postponed due to the recent storms. The start of the Jackpot series is highly anticipated and I know that it is going to be a great series of events that skiers and riders can enjoy. This year the TPC is hosting the 2nd annual TPC Invitational at the end of the season. The top ten individuals from the four Jackpot events will qualify for the Invitational. Given this new format, the Jackpot series should be filled with excitement and intense competition. I am looking forward to the start of this series at Heavenly.
Spring is definitely in the air and I am definitely looking forward to the good times ahead. Plentiful amounts of snow, beautiful conditions, and pristine parks; what more can I ask for? And not to mention, the Southshore Soldiers Ski and Snowboard Camp is right around the corner. Bigger parks, bigger jumps, and amplified rails sounds good to me. I have to contain myself because I am so excited for what is to come in the oncoming weeks at Heavenly. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Jackpot competitions and as always I encourage anyone to come up and say “Hi” if they see me on the mountain. You will most likely find me in the park, High Rollin’, jibbing, and jumping with enthusiastic delight. Until next time, make some turns, have some fun, and enjoy the oncoming Spring to the fullest.

Think Snow,
