Warren Miller / Make-A-Wish Fundraiser in Reno
First in the history of Ski Base Jumping….to promote the Warren Miller / Make-a-Wish Annual Fundraising Event, SHANE McCONKEY, JT HOLMES, MILES D AND JESSE HALL SKI OFF THE ROOF OF THE SILVER LEGACY RESORT CASINO IN RENO, NEVADA!!!!!
They are going to be Ski Base Jumping 4 times during the day leading up to our huge Make-a-Wish Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Pairing Party with Musical Guest RAY PARKER JR, then to our Snowsports Tradeshow and PLAYGROUND Premiere, and finally, to our AFTERHOURS Party with Reno’s Favorite Band SOL JIBE.
As you can see, the Warren Miller Movie Premiere is 4 events wrapped into one action packed day/night!… And the most wonderful thing is, the proceeds from our event go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Northern Nv. Our goal this year for Make-a-Wish is $30,000. This is
Make-a-Wish of Northern Nevada’s biggest “out of house” fundraiser and we’re going to make sure that it’s big and better than ever before.
1. The Base Jumpers will SKI OFF THE SILVER LEGACY RESORT CASINO and land
in the surface parking of the Eldorado Casino across the street. (1pm, 2pm, 3pm and
4pm).
2. The Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Pairing Party will take place at the Silver Legacy
Resort Casino in the Silver Baron A Ballroom from 5-7pm. (The Silver Legacy is across
the street from our Movie/Tradeshow Venue, the Reno Events Center).
3. Our Movie Premiere and Snowsports Tradeshow will be held at the Reno Events
Center, a gorgeous venue in downtown Reno. We split the Reno Events Center up into
2 sections….We set the movie premiere section up for approx 4500 people with VIP Sky

Snowsports Tradeshow area with over 60 vendors, it’s pretty impressive. Tradeshow
doors open at 6pm, PLAYGROUND starts at 8pm.
4. After the Movie Premiere, we go back into the tradeshow area for an AFTERPARTY
with “Reno’s Favorite Band”: SOL JIBE, 10pm-midnight.
