Hey!

I’m in Whistler, Canada right now. I’m here because I won the ULLR trip (Thanks to all my voters!!!) The trip was a long one, but I’m really excited to be here. The Tellus World Ski and Snowboard Fesitvals are going on so there is a lot to do. Bands playing every night in town, a mini-ramp to skate, and different activies everywhere.

Currently, the weather isn’t ideal for Festival & Contest weather… The last few days, it has been raining down in town, but snowing on the mountain. Today, were the snowboard qualifiers for the Stompede slopestyle. They took 10 out of 22 women snowboarders. I made the cut – so I get to compete in finals on Sunday. Luckily, the weather is suppose to clear up. It’s really hard to ride park when there is fresh white powder laying around! Then on Monday we have the ULLR Unleashed event (We have to present our “Mountain Culture” art project that we created) and on Wednesday is the Big Mountain portion of the contest.

Unfortunately, I get back to Tahoe late night on the 22nd so I don’t get to ride at Heavenly anymore! I can’t wait until next season – this year was really great. My sponsors, as always, have been amazing with helping me out with everything from gear, passes, and travel. Couldn’t do what I love without them. – THANKS!!!
