Heavenly Wants to Hear From You …
With the recent big storm dropping TWO FEET of snow at Heavenly in the last four days, we want to hear from you … what is your favorite powder stash or what is favorite run a couple of days after a storm?
Thanks,
Heavenly

The Face has been tremendous. Kudos to the snow makers.

Good work getting some of the terrain parks open, but what about the superpipe and some larger kickers?

The team @ Heavenly is unreal! We haven’t had a good dump from Mother Nature all season and other than not having the trees really open it’s pretty hard to tell. I had my brother and his girlfriend here both from Montana neither had been to Heavenly before and both were very impressed. Keep it up and see you all on the mountain!

We were lapping the face and skating over to Lower Gunbarrel on 1/17. Lower GB was super smooth with a few inches of fresh man made on top. It made for perfect turns, whether you made six huge, high speed, sweepers or 25 short radius turns. On that day, GB was probably the best run in all of Tahoe. Props to the snowmaking team! Keep it up!

Resort conditions are phenom considering the lack of Mother Nature’s attention. Best carving. We’ve rode a few other mountains and Heavenly’s buff in comparison. Give all those snowmakers and groomers a bonus!

I heard the superpipe was on its way … and assume that the big kickers will be coming soon.

Just wanted to let you know we miss the live camera shots which were droped with the homepage change.

The lack of snow allows for robust creativity, which is exactly what Heavenly provides to those who participate in the current conditions! While we’re all dancing for natural snow, in the mean time, kudos to Heavenly for doing a tremendous job keeping the trails well groomed with plenty of coverage for early season skiing!!

We have been skiing the face and it’s been great due to constant snowmaking. keep it up! I wish it was possible to do the same for upper Ellie’s. I liked the old web site since there were direct links to detailed weather forcast and road condition, I can’t find those anymore. Also there was more info on the mountain condition at various elevations.

looks like the park crew is working on a superpipe. nice! give those guys some red bulls ah?

Really good job by mountain crew to make this season possible. Thanks. The face has been great, but I agree with the comments above; it needs occasional grooming along with the snow-making.
Cheers.

Heavenly has done a great job this year opening so much terrain with such little help from mother nature, but this last storm iced the cake and it was great to finally get into the trees!! Good skiing conditions are great for local business and morale, so we look forward to keeping this season going strong!
