Heavenly Opens The Face …
The face is open, Saturday December 16. It was ready a week ago, but because of the rains the snow was too hard to open to the public. Temperatures dropped last night and the guns came on. This morning there was three inches of velvet. Heavenly officially has the best skiing in the State. The snowmakers and fan guns have proven a point, if you don’t believe me come ski here. Bring your new skis, perfect wind buff, like it fell from the sky every night.

The face was in good shape, the snowmaking really makes good snow. Plake was there early. Thanks Heavenly for the best open terrain in Tahoe (early season) once again.

I’m stoked to see you guys on the slopes agan this year with my up and coming 9 year old Brooke challenging for the best powder on the Nevada side!
